5 - Business Legal Information
For working with small businesses, often this involves ongoing monthly support. In such cases, I will quote a rate/month for the assistance being given, based on the amount of time/month that will be spent working for your business as a contractor. In general, rates quoted will be based on time spent on tasks. If required to come to a premises, all travel costs must also be covered.
For home visits, I will do my level best to complete tasks and fix problems as quickly as possible, and leave you with a sorted computing situation. If there are any problems afterwards, you can always give me a call and talk it through. If there is a genuine case that a problem was not fixed the first time, I would come back free of charge. In other words if i take on the work, I guarantee to be able to fix what you need the first time around. If for any reason the software solutions then encounter problems, this is when I will return free of charge to help you get things sorted.
For helping students with their dissertation figure preparations, I will work at the rate of £20/hour for giving tutorials over skype. We can use a team working software such as TeamViewer for me to perform edits in powerpoint or Inkscape on your machine, so you can see exactly what I am doing and make notes.
